Old Oak Front garden challenge

The Old Oak 2026 Front Garden Challenge launched in March 2026 with leafleting and seed packet giveaways. Old Oak Primary School gardening club developed the idea and came up with the name.


Most houses on the estate have gardens and the challenge is taking place almost 100 years after a London-wide front garden competition where a house in Erconwald Street was a winner.
